Be wary of the colour out of space. This is a term used to describe a particular species of anomalous and hostile energy-based lifeform. In pre-natal form, these lifeforms inhabit egg-like hollow globules of Promelian Quartz typically found on asteroids and meteors that have originated from or passed through either a stellar nursery or a mutara class dark matter nebula at some point. Upon hatching, these life forms, which are primarily comprised of ultra-high energy photons and quark/gluonic proto-matter, emerge in larval phase and receive sustenance by siphoning energy emissions from stars or other deep space electromagnetic radiation energy sources. However, if they happen to hatch on a planetary surface due to a meteroite crash, they will siphon whatever local energy sources are available. On a habitable planet's surface, where the atmosphere blocks the more harmful radiation bands, such as radio waves below the VHF band, and ionizing radiations above UV-gamma, the entity will starve unless it can feed off natural bio-electricity waves from organic sources. This results in the desiccation and eventual death of said local organisms such as plants, animals, microbes, humans, etc... If these entities survive into their adult phase, they will have built up enough energy to leave the planetary surface and return to the stars to breed. But this will release a large amount of Thalaron radiation which is deadly to all organic life. These entities are therefore typically strictly cosmozoan in nature. There is no evidence to indicate whether these lifeforms possess anything beyond basic instinctual intelligence and stimulus responses at this time. They are predatory when on a planetary surface.

Love it. Biblically accurate things, mainly angels of course are always wicked, it actually does seem like something the deepest parts of the cosmos would create, almost Lovecraftian, but friendly.
